Hot Water! Due to recent high profile cases in Flint Michigan and Hoosick Falls New York, contaminated drinking water is the new hot topic in Environmental Law. The experienced panelists will discuss the impact of these cases on municipal drinking water systems, including Governor Cuomo's new program bill for infrastructure improvements and enforcement against property owners contributing to contaminated drinking water supplies, being called the "Superfund Light" program. This panel will also discuss other "hot" developments in case law and new initiatives by the current administration and New York State in coastal erosion, stormwater management, and wetlands.
